The Problems are the Solution

I always looked at the bright side in most part of my young life. And I think it was a big mistake on my part. It might be the cause of why I always got ignored and left out on many opportunities I could have gotten in the past. I didn't act. I didn't look into the issues. I didn't do a review of what got wrong. If I did, I might have found the solutions earlier on.

We always hear people telling us to be "positive".  That we have to learn to be contented.  I agree and I say those things too. But there must be a limit out there. I don't know where it is but there should be a ceiling of contentment and positivity.

Inventors, innovators, thinkers and philosophers are positive people in general. But their positivity all came out from the negatives they encounter as an opportunity to bring out a new and better stuff. They produced greater things and ideas out of not being contented on their current situations. Da Vinci, Einstein, Pascal, Edison, Aquinas, Jobs, Descartes, Newton, Ford, Tzu, etc. If these people learned to just be contented and positive with their lives, we might still be living in the caves right now, hunting for our dinner tonight while greeting our mom happy birthday thru smoke signals. I'm exaggerating but you get the idea.

Right now, i'm trying to identify the problems around me. I hope I can see something to fix or to improve. But right now, I feel very contented about almost everything.  And I'm afraid. Please, help me.
