A Front and Back Leader

Leaders must know how and when to push the right buttons. To do that, one must know how to read the writings on the face of the followers. You don't have to ask if your people are committed. You just know if they are. You don't have to motivate self-motivated people as it will spoil the mood. As a leader, you are expected to be behind your people pushing them to move forward. At the same time, followers expect to see you ahead of them guiding the team on their way to the desired direction.

  2. But behind a very good and effective leader, there should also be motivated followers who are willing to take part in making everything a success. Kahit gaano ka-willing at kagaling ang isang leader, if the followers remain passive and dependent, then those leadership qualities are a waste.

Long time no comment, sir Rogie!

    1. Welcome back Vento. Thanks.

Regarding your comment, if a leader indeed has "great qualities", then he or she definitely must know how to motivate and push the right buttons of the followers. If not, then that person is not a leader.
